The competition was centered on the company's core welding production business and innovatively adopted an assessment model combining "universal theoretical testing for all employees + independent multi-project practical operation competition." The theoretical session covered knowledge of all types of welding processes, including TIG welding, manual arc welding, and laser welding, achieving full coverage of assessments for welding position employees. This not only solidified the theoretical foundation for all staff but also unified the company-wide standards for welding process cognition. The practical session featured three tracks: TIG welding, TIG/MMA combination welding, and CO2 shielded welding. Employees were allowed to register across different projects. Performance was comprehensively evaluated based on two core dimensions: welding speed and weld seam formation quality, precisely identifying operational shortcomings and effectively reducing quality issues such as weld defects, rework, and scrap.Organized by the Production Center, the event saw collaborative participation in monitoring and judging from the Technical Center, Quality Department, Testing Center, and other departments. This not only established a linked mechanism for talent assessment, process standards, and quality inspection but also improved the company's standardized welding skill evaluation system.
