In recent years, focusing on long-term development, Zhongding Hengsheng invested 500 million RMB to build a gas compression equipment R&D and production base in the Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone. Through the construction of photovoltaic power stations, upgrades to waste heat recovery systems, and the deployment of online monitoring platforms for energy consumption across all processes, the company's comprehensive energy consumption per unit of output value decreased by 23.6% year-on-year, and the comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid waste reached 98.4%. Meanwhile, the R&D sector focuses on low-carbon processes for core hydrogen energy components, the manufacturing sector promotes lead-free welding and water-based coating alternatives, and the supply chain establishes green supplier access and dynamic evaluation mechanisms, forming a green management system covering the entire "R&D—Manufacturing—Supply" chain.
Zhongding Hengsheng has built the first automated assembly line for hydrogen compressors in China, equipped with three customized robots and integrating eight patented technologies, driving production processes towards automation and precision. After the production line was put into use, production efficiency increased by 40%, and material loss decreased by 25%, effectively reducing resource waste and carbon emissions while enhancing capacity and quality.
In addition to making "subtractions" in production, Zhongding Hengsheng is also making "additions" in energy. The company fully utilizes rooftop resources, deploying a 2.4MW photovoltaic power station on the Phase II factory roof with an annual generation of 2.25 million kWh, and a 2.0MW photovoltaic power generation device on the Phase III factory roof with an estimated annual generation of 1.95 million kWh. This meets the plant's electricity demand through the "self-generation for self-use, surplus power to grid" model. The company continuously optimizes its energy structure and increases the proportion of clean energy usage. It is estimated that cumulative CO2 emissions will be reduced by approximately 135,000 tons over 30 years, equivalent to planting 700,000 trees. For the enterprise, this is not only an effective supplement of green power but also a long-term layout for sustainable development.
In terms of environmental governance, Zhongding Hengsheng is equipped with gas compressor stations and environmental catalytic combustion equipment, achieving an exhaust gas treatment efficiency of over 95% to ensure stable compliance with emission standards; the recycling and reuse rate of production wastewater reaches 80%, and discharged wastewater meets Grade A standards after advanced treatment; in solid waste management, the company adheres to the principles of "reduction, resource utilization, and harmlessness," increasing the production waste recycling rate to 90% and achieving a 100% compliant disposal rate for hazardous waste.
